While many studios encourage unlimited memberships, we know that we can change your life with as little as two targeted sessions per week.
Start with the initial consult (kick-off package), add in the course (once or twice a week) and put yourself first.
Sessions are very limited, if you can't make this round work, let us know your availability and waitlist for Autumn.
Welcome call and initial consult
We get it, life is full-on ... but let's do this properly. Let's take the time to get to know you which includes how you move and learn. With this information we can design a pathway with specific exercises and points of view to deliver you results without faffing around.
In this session we will identify work-arounds as well which exercises will be your secret weapon.
5-week purpose-built courses
We accept only six clients at a time so that you have the space to learn at your pace and ask the questions as they arise. You'll nail the foundational techniques required to mobilise and strengthen without overtraining or being lost during the class.

5 x 55 minute sessions with new clients in mind across the Studio (Cadillac, Mat, Barrels) and Reformer (Reformer).

We take pride in not diluting Joseph Pilates' genius, but making the early days palatable for 21st century bodies. That's why these courses have been developed... to give you the special sauce without the militant approach of decades gone by.

If our new client course criteria or programme is going to nurture you, we will direct you to our other training programmes, like the Clinical Exercise stream or ongoing 1:1 tuition until it is correct.
Exercise is not a one-size-fits-all endeavour.
You can rely on our expertise to ensure you are in the optimal training environment so that your goals can be met with appropriate support.
The next step
Once you've completed the first courses in Studio and Reformer, you will really start to see the benefits of the method in our follow-up courses.
We have developed these based on the pain-points that clients used to have when they came to us from other studios and how they have combined our foundational information with the stronger work. This is where you'll really feel the results.

Not at all; our studio is truly geared to those over 40 anyway. Many of our clients begin Pilates later in life. Classical Pilates is about improving how your body functions now and supporting strength, balance and mobility for the years ahead.
Yes. This course is designed for real bodies — including those with aches, niggles or a long break from movement. Exercises are taught with care, clarity and options so you can move safely and comfortably while building confidence.
If you have clinical rehabilitation goals or medical conditions that require targeted support, we’ll offer you a place in our clinical exercise programme instead.
You won’t be, we’re here to help and classes are capped at six clients. You’ll be guided at your own pace, with some individual attention and plenty of encouragement throughout. The Movement Refinery is a learning environment for you to understand your body and how to live in it fully, we are not competitive or performance-oriented.... and to be honest, it's a time of concentration and self-focus, so other client's aren't Meerkats of comparison.
This process allows us to understand how you move, place you in the most appropriate programme, and ensure your training is safe, effective and aligned with your goals from the outset. Rather than trial-and-error or one-size-fits-all classes, this client-centred approach protects your long-term progress and ensures your investment in Pilates leads to meaningful, lasting results. This isn’t a barrier to entry — it’s how we take your training seriously.
Once you complete Courses S1 (Studio) and R1 (Reformer), we’ll help you choose a pathway that suits your goals. This may include progressing into Courses S2 and R2 and then our unique Joe’s Gym sessions, or supported autonomous practice when the time is right. There’s no pressure — just thoughtful options that work.
